We chose Vintage Hills for my father for two reasons: the cost and the way that the contract or the payments were made. There wasn’t a long-term requirement; it’s basically a month by month type of setup that seemed to fit our budget very well. They take residents on outings depending on the time of year. They take them fishing and shopping and also have several indoor activities including movies and get-togethers, or they can play cards. They have physical therapy and pretty much everything else they could want to do. He seems very happy with it.
We chose Vintage Hills at Prairie Trail for my mother-in-law. We’re in the process of getting her ready to move right now. I like that their memory care residents get the same activities as their assisted living residents. I like the layout. They check on the residents every half hour 24 hours a day. They make sure they look at each one. They have several activity rooms, including one that has some modified gym equipment. They have strengthening activities that the residents can do in their wheelchairs if they need to and group activities or classes. It doesn’t have the feeling of a hospital. The memory care unit has wide, open spaces, and instead of having the rooms in a hallway, they’re kind of around a big open area. It’s very nice and relatively new. They have rooms that you can reserve that have different activities like pinball and different games. You can have a family get-together without having to take your loved one out somewhere. They have a beauty salon right on-site. They have a medical team that works with them there. The staff seemed to be very caring and concerned about making sure that everybody is being treated with dignity and respect. It seemed a little bit homier than other places, and I liked the open space and the layout of the room.
I’ve visited Vintage Hills at Prairie Trail for my mom and I was very impressed with the place. It seemed to be well-organized, the people there were well cared for, the food looked good, and I thought it was very nice.
We went to Vintage Hills, and it was very nice, pretty new; everything was modern. They have a little theater where they watch movies several times a week and people can get popcorn. The dining area was very nice, and it looked like they offered a lot of choices. The room was small but not bad. They also have a memory care unit, which I thought it was good. It was 10 minutes from my house, and everything was very nice.
VERY pleased with this new facility. Clean – excellent fresh smell. Classy set up, like living in a country club. BEST of all, ALL staff is friendly, committed to providing the best service, and sincerely enjoy the residents. Appreciate that they also embrace involvement, feedback and collaboration with families.
I have lived at Vintage Hills for 3 years and find it to be extremely clean and comfortable. The staff is very competent and friendly. I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a first class environment.
Vintage Hills is a wonderful, caring community. Happy New Year to a fantastic staff!
Vintage hills at Prairie Trail is an amazing place to work and I feel we do our best to make the residents happy and are able to thrive in their daily living.
A beautiful, well maintained building! Warm & inviting! Friendly staff!
My mother had recently lived at this community for a short period of time and I was pleased with her experience of this place. It was newer facility so they where still working out some things but for the most part everything went well. The staff where attentive to her needs and I was comfortable with the care she had been receiving. I would definitely recommend it to anyone interested in an assisted living for there loved one.
It’s been really good. We haven’t had any complaints about the maintenance or other residents or anything. We liked the location it’s convenient for us. The lady that helped us was extremely knowledgeable, and once we told her what are situation was, she knew exactly what we were looking for, and the services they provide were just what we needed.
Vintage Hills at Prairie Trail has an inviting atmosphere and its just perfect for my mom who needs assistance in her daily living activities. Once a guru in the kitchen, she has adapted well to being pampered receiving three meals each day. Mom is enjoying meeting new people, adapting to her new apartment, planned activities throughout the day and having her grandkids/dog stay over for the night. There are planned outings twice a week which I’m hoping can be increased in the future. Mom can still living independently while having the security of getting help at a moments notice. The people that assist my mom are fabulous and have really worked with our family to make the transition as seamless as possible.
